If anyone is wondering (and since a couple of people have asked me), The "Vapour Station" was a nickname given to one of the spaces I used to work in at a company which built custom audio products. It was where new stuff got tested to death. As such I thought it appropriate to resurect the name for a space in which ideas could undergo a similar level of testing....
