Website Creation

Having recently returned to using Apple Mac computers for more of the work that I do (after a period of time using a pc which was far too long) I've been making some websites just using iweb (nothing too complicated or with any of the flashing lights, burning candles or dancing pixies like some people can do in flash or in some of the other website building software packages), and it's been so addictive! Once I had figured out how to embed an RSS feed there was no stopping me! Where I can use my initiative and negotiate software reasonably intuitively, I'm too curious not to delve into all the available tutorials and help files and they have all been excellent. Since I'm not a naturally "visually orientated" guy, I think more in sounds than pictures, I've been reading all kinds of useful stuff about how to get iweb to do some amazing things, and all this is free with a new mac! it's not some 3rd party special bit of kit which I've had to buy. I've been very impressed! The time consuming pain in the arse that has been www.nikharrison.com as promised for some time now should be online soon with all the links to lessons, videos, articles, project updates, and more.

About Me

Nik Harrison
Tall, bald, hard working, eccentric musician. The Vapour Station was a nickname for one of the spaces I used to work in where things were tested to death, so I'm using it here to test my thoughts and ideas. The Gui-target practice blog was set up to be the official blog for my 'Contemporary Guitar Performance Workshop' project, course, and handbook.
